This course will teach the basics and safety for running successful Tomahawk throwing sessions for young people.
The course runs at Bibbys Farm on our tomahawk throwing range and will concentrate on running sessions with “angel axes” but will also touch on other equipment such as hatchets & tomahawks.
The course will start at 2pm and run until 5pm.
In addition to the course, we will also offer each participant the opportunity to visit site for future personal practise and development sessions included in the price or even carry on practising over the weekend if the range is available.
To achieve the Scout requirements for this activity, a further 4 hours of personal practise is required and we will stamp your card until you have completed the additional hours.
To ensure the training is still fresh, this is limited to 6 months following the date of the course.
On successful completion, a certificate of attendance will be presented and this will allow holders to run their own sessions at Bibbys Farm in the future without the need or expense of needing an instructor.
The session will run regardless of the weather so please dress appropriately.
